Understanding the Features of a Task Record
The task object contains a ton of features to help you manage and stay on top of your workload.
1. Account name, click to open the Account record
2. Task completion check box
3. Task Subject
4. Priority drop-down
5. Task type drop down (task types are customizable)
6. Task Description
7. Task items. Create/remove/reorder items required to complete the task. Items can be checked off as they are completed
8. Manually add more items here
9. Drop down calendar to select a calendar due date
10. Drop down a list of colleagues to select a task owner
11. If this task relates to a specific customer, select the relevant person from the drop down list
12. Upload/drag and drop related documents
13. History of activity relating to the task
14. New comments can be manually added to the task history here
15. Click the follow button to receive notifications relating to the task
16. Click to add colleagues to the 'follow' list for the task
17. Delete the task
